A beautiful spring day…so bridal!

Monica took advantage of the lovely spring weather to get her bridal portraits done. We had a great session at Yates Mill!

The professionals at COIN wanted some great individual and group shots taken for their website, so I gave them a wide variety.  Why shouldn’t professionals look as good as models?

Marlie came into the studio because she’d decided (very generously and bravely) to shave her head for St. Baldrick’s Day and donate the funds she generated by doing so to help alleviate children’s cancer.   These are her “before” shots, and soon I’ll be able to post the “after” ones as well!

I always love to visit Wisconsin to photograph the Riebe family, and since they’ve recently welcomed a new member, Lauren Evelyn Riebe, I got to do some fun baby pictures!  What a little love she was!  Wide-eyed and gorgeous and with such good temperament.  It was a great session.

Ame and Josh tied the knot!

On a chilly but not bitter day in March in Wisconsin, Ame and Josh got married. I particularly love the outdoor photos.  Winter brides have to get creative to get some color in their pics, so we made good use of the early sunset. Isn’t Ame lovely?

Phyllis Weldon, artist, business woman, and entrepreneur, wanted some updated headshots for work and family.  Here she is, photographed in her own home looking very glamorous. Some of the backdrops you see here are Phyllis’ own artworks!  Visit her website at http://www.eolusinc.com/Artsartium/ARTISTSTATEMENT.htm to view more of her pieces.

Greg Paul wanted some updated headshots for his acting resume, so we headed out to the Raleigh Rose Garden to capture some.  The point of the exercise was to show Greg’s acting capabilities, so some of these shots are meant to show characters and emotion, like “goofy”  “evil” ”romantic” or “friendly” so they can fit whatever role that Greg is auditioning for.

Jan Starnowski asked me to take couples portraits of her and her husband, so we took advantage of the glorious fall day and went for a walk by the NC Art Museum.  What a couple of great smilers those two were!  We got some lovely portraits that day.  Thanks, Jan!

This was Brittany’s favorite bridal portrait!  We went to Yates mill and spent about an hour shooting her in her dress.  I love this one, too, it feels so modern.  Thanks for a great day, Brittany!
